I've finished my Beginners Course - what next?
Enthused by your Beginners Course with us and full of a desire to
take it further, you’d probably appreciate your options being laid out
in black and white…or, well, yellow and black.
Firstly, we think it is important to say that us humans being the
wonderfully unique creatures we are means that everybody’s journey
through this gorgeous dance is particular to them. So we’ll lay out
your options based on where you feel you’re at.
Option 1
It may be that you joined the course a little late or that anyway
you’d like to feel more secure in the basic rhythm and steps
before moving up, in which case, we’d strongly advise you to
repeat Beginners Level 1.
Option 2
While still feeling a little tentative about the basic elements,
you’d still like to taste what’s on offer at the next level. If this is
the case, we’d actually recommend doing both beginner’s
levels: repeating Beginners 1 would continue to build your
confidence, while Beginners 2 at 7.30pm would provide you
with a tantalising and challenging taste of what’s to come.
While you occasionally might feel slightly out your depth, you’d
quickly build your confidence and eventually, when you felt
ready, drop Beginners 1.
Option 3
You have thoroughly absorbed what Beginners 1 has to offer
and are now feeling fully ready to take on the challenges and
thrills of the next level. If this is the case, we’d advise you to
move directly to Beginners 2 at 7.30pm.
If you’re not sure which option is right for you then please either get
in touch and ask us or come a bit earlier to the classes and do so in
person. If you’d like an idea of how long each level takes on average,
